Sophia Hutchins, Caitlyn Jenner’s close friend and manager, has died at the age of 29 after a fatal ATV accident in Los Angeles. According to reports, Hutchins’ quad bike struck the back of a moving car near Jenner’s Malibu home, causing her to fall 350 feet down a ravine. She was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other vehicle’s occupants were unharmed.
Hutchins and Jenner’s friendship began in 2015 during Jenner’s gender transition. Hutchins, who appeared on the reality show I Am Cait, shared her transgender identity with Jenner. The two were known to be very close, with Jenner referring to Hutchins as her “best friend” and “confidant.”
Hutchins graduated from Pepperdine University and was the founder and CEO of LUMASOL, a health and technology company. She also led the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation, which supports transgender rights and provides grants for programs focusing on healthcare, housing, employment, and suicide prevention.
