A Toxic Brother-in-Law

When I met Michael, our relationship felt like a whirlwind romance. We laughed, cried, and built a life together. But there was one major obstacle: his brother, Jordan. From the moment we met, Jordan made it clear he didn’t approve of me. He was arrogant, rude, and always pushing boundaries.

Our first meeting was a disaster. Jordan hit on me, grabbing me without consent, and when I pushed him away, he laughed it off like it was a joke. Michael talked to him about it, but Jordan just brushed it off, and Michael didn’t push the issue further. The situation didn’t sit well with me, and I made it clear I didn’t want Jordan at our wedding.

But Michael’s parents made it a condition that if Jordan wasn’t invited, they wouldn’t attend the wedding either. We reluctantly agreed to invite him, but with the understanding that we wouldn’t have to interact with him.

On our wedding day, everything was perfect until Jordan showed up at the bridal room door. He dumped a bucket of green paint all over me, ruining my dress and hair. He sneered, “This is for rejecting me, witch.” My bridesmaids were shocked, but one of them, Stacy, quickly found a new dress for me to wear.

When I walked into the church, people were whispering, thinking I had run away. But I stood tall, paint-stained and all, and revealed what Jordan had done. Michael stood up for me, confronting Jordan and eventually kicking him out of the church along with his parents when they didn’t condemn his actions.

In that moment, I knew Michael was truly on my side. We continued with the ceremony, and our bond grew stronger. We realized that our love could overcome any obstacle, and we were ready to face whatever came next, together.

As we exchanged our vows, I felt a sense of relief and gratitude. Michael had finally stood up to his brother and chosen me. I knew that our marriage would be built on mutual respect, trust, and love. And as we walked out of the church, hand in hand, I knew that we were ready to take on the world together.
