The House That’s a Little Too Purple

Finding the perfect home can be a daunting task. Sometimes, compromises must be made to find a place that fits your needs. However, there are certain things that people are not willing to compromise on, and for one house in the UK, that thing is a sea of purple.

From the outside, the house looks lovely, with a perfectly manicured garden and a garage. The listing described it as a four-bedroom home with a master suite, all maintained to a “high standard.” But despite its attractive exterior, the house has been having trouble finding a buyer.

The reason for this became clear when the interior photos were released. Every aspect of the interior is purple – the walls, the floors, the ceilings, and even the curtains. The master suite’s closet doors are a garish purple color, and while it might be easy to paint over the walls, replacing fixtures like closet doors can be a hassle.

The bathroom is no exception, with white tiles featuring purple floral details and a white bathtub surrounded by shaggy purple carpeting on the floor and sides. It’s a purple paradise that’s likely to be a turn-off for most potential buyers.

The exterior of the house remains unaffected by the purple onslaught, and the garden looks perfectly normal. The house is listed for £400,000, approximately $5 million. Unless the next owner shares a passion for the color purple, some serious changes will need to be made.
