Little Johnny’s Curious Mind

Little Johnny, a grade 7 student, was known for asking a plethora of questions to his teacher. His curiosity often led to amusing and unexpected responses.

One day, Johnny posed a question to his English teacher, inquiring about the pronunciation of certain words, such as “hour” and “honour,” where the letter “H” is seemingly ignored. His teacher explained that these letters are considered silent, leaving Johnny more perplexed than before.

Later that day, during lunch, Johnny’s teacher asked him to heat up her packed lunch in the cafeteria. However, when Johnny returned with the container, it was empty. His teacher was shocked and asked what had happened, as she had specifically instructed him to heat the food.

Johnny’s response was quick-witted and hilarious. He said, “Madam, I thought ‘H’ was silent.” This clever remark left his teacher speechless, and it’s a moment that will be remembered by English teachers everywhere.
